MEET DAVID SALVIN

David has been practicing law for over 28 years. He received his B.A. in history from the University of California at Irvine and his Law Degree from Whittier College School of  Law.   David currently holds licenses to practice law the State of California and Oregon as well as the Federal District Courts of California.

​A lifetime NRA member, with over 30 years of firearms experience, David has spent his entire life working with, shooting and collecting firearms.  Through his criminal defense practice and now with his gun trust work David now combines his hobby and love of firearms with his professional career and professional expertise.

In addition to serving his clients in private practice, David has served the public through his participation with the O.C. Bar Assoc. Arbitrators Panel, O.C. Judge Pro Tem, Orange County Bar Association's Conference of Delegates, South Orange County Bar Association, O.C. Trial Lawyers Association and the CA Bar Association, and the past President of the South Orange County Bar Association.  David is also a frequent contributor to local legal publications to keep others in his chosen fields abreast of the latest changes in California state law and policy.

Interests and Hobbies

 

When he's not shooting, David enjoys a wide range of hobbies ranging from Elizabethan rapier fencing and antique sword collecting to woodworking, flyfishing and studying academic subjects including Japanese, Russian, ancient Kanji and Modern Medicine.  Recently David completed the restoration of a WW2 Willy's Jeep and enjoys driving it in Parades or just driving it around town.
